4700 Series: Single Coated Open Cell Polyester Foam Tape
Description
An open cell polyester polyurethane foam tape coated
on one side with a high performance acrylic adhesive.
Flammability characteristics meets the requirements of
S4.3 of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No.302 FMVSS 302.
Also meets the requirements of Underwriters Laboratories Standard for
Safety UL 94 for classification HF-1.
Density 2.00+- 10% lbs./ft3. Tensile: 25.0 psi. Elongation: 116%.
Tear Resistance, min, lbs/in: 1.5. Compression Set @ 50% Deflection,
Max %: 10. Compression Force Deflection, psi 25%: 0.74, 50%: 0.84
70%: 1.60. Cell Count 9visual), ppi: 50+- 5. Retention of tensile strength
after 22 hours dry heat Aging @ 140 deg. C. min %: 70.
