cloth with a natural rubber resin adhesive. Tape will conform well to
irregular surfaces, and will not twist or curl during application.
Excellent water and abrasion resistance. Tape is hand-tearable (tears
evenly across web.) Used as a quality waterproof packaging tape for
export shipments; for splicing, vinyl repair, protecting, and bundling;
for ductwork sealing and seaming; and for color coding. Adhesion to
steel: 39 oz/in width roll unwind. Tensile strength: 25.7 lbs/in.
Elongation at break: 13.5%. Temperature range: 32°F to 150°F.

620 Industrial Cloth Tapes
Contractors Grade Duct Tape
12.2 mil. 70 mesh. High tensile Polyethylene-coated cloth with a natural
rubber resin adhesive. It is a superior performance duct tape
specifically designed for the high demand of contractor applications.
Product has excellent shear values to surface and backing. It has
good conformability and excellent resistance to tear. Used in HVAC
industry to provide an excellent seal for thermal insulation and air
conditioning ducts, used as a moisture barrier for both indoor and
outdoor applications. Also used in asbestos abatement applications;
as a quality waterproof packaging tape for export shipments; for
splicing, vinyl repair, protecting, and bundling. Adhesion to steel: 60
oz/in. Tensile strength: 27.9 lbs/in. Elongation at break: 12%.
Temperature range: 32°F to 150°F. 3” neutral core/carton.

Gaffers/Spike Tape (low gloss finish)
12.6 mil, 80 mesh. High quality polyethylene coated cloth laminated
to a low gloss finish film, coated with a Natural Rubber
adhesive. Tape will conform well to irregular surfaces, and will not
twist or curl. Excellent water, vapor and abrasion resistance. Clean
removal on most surfaces (surface type & dwell time may affect
performance). Suitable for entertainment type applications (concerts,
trade shows, etc.) where minimal visibility of tape is desired.
Used for holding down cable, wires, electrical cords, and in stage
set-ups for marking placement (i.e. “spike” tape). Suitable as a
book binding tape for seaming & reinforcement. Adhesion: 34
oz/in. Roll unwind: 32 oz/in. Tensile: 28 lb/in. Elongation: 12%
Operating temperature range: up to 150°F. Heat resistance: 185°F.
(3 hours max). 3” neutral core/carton.
